Venue

AIC2008 will begin on Friday 21 November 2008, and will end on Monday 22 November 2008 at noon. Symposia, poster sessions, and receptions will be held on the seventh floor of the Chicago Marriott Downtown. Workshops will be held on the sixth floor.

Travel

Air travel. Major airlines have mutiple daily flights into O'Hare or Midway International Airports.

Public transportation. Many options are available to Chicago visitors. Public buses and elevated or "L" train routes and schedules may be found at the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) website and an CTA "L" map is also available. The Best Taxi cab companies are to be found at this website.

In addition the Mariott hotel offers a number of services including a conciege in the hotel lobby who is ready to answer your questions. This free service is provided by the Chicago Marriott Downtown and is a great way to enhance your stay in Chicago.
     Saturday evening, 21 Nov 2008, the annual Festival of Lights Parade will be held on Michigan Avenue as a kick off to the holiday shopping season. A fireworks display is held at aproximately 7:00 PM, two blocks south of the Marriott at Michigan Avenue and the Chicago river. We would also like to think that the festivities also celebrate the Autumn Immunology Conference!
